Tips for your resume to help you get a better career in IT

I think we all know how hard it is getting to the interview stage of a job. Going through job mails and sites filled with ads that you have to try to sort through to see what you can apply for. Then when you find something you want to apply for, you need to write the engaging cover letter, and ensure your CV is adequate for the position you are applying for to. A career in IT requires you to properly address those requirements in your cover letter as well as your CV.

Your CV is the biggest display of your presentation and communication skills, as well as your attention to detail. A broad ranging, vague CV will confuse people and cause your CV to end up on the trash pile. A useful tool for getting your resume on track is Jack's Guide to the Killer CV. Well worth checking out if you want to get that interview to further your career in IT.
